Major component:
Mist eliminator module, water pipe , nozzle, strutting piece, connecting piece etc. TME mist eliminator module is made from high molecular material with high strength and excellent anti-corrosion capability. Therefore, it has good chemical and physical performances.
Working Principle:
At every blade unit, after several times of direction change, droplet will hit the blade under the action of inertia and centrifugal force. finally, the droplets on the blade will collect and drop down.
Main features:
In order to keep the balance between demist efficiency and pressure drop, we use a computer soft to calculate the angle and distance.
The blade is made by polypropylene material that make it resistance to high pressure washing and various kind of other running conditions.
Blade surface is flat and smooth. It makes the blade easy to be washed and hard to scaling. Most of all, it lifts the efficiency of demist.
Mist Eliminator is using a modular design, every module is fixed by a special strip. This design is easy for operation, inspection and maintenance.

Main performances of TME mist eliminator:
1) Mist eliminating performance:
Mist eliminating performance can be expressed with mist eliminating efficiency, which is the key index to checking the performance of mist eliminator. There are many factors affecting the mist eliminating efficiency, which includes but not limited to: flue gas flow rate, homogeneity of air flow distribution passing the mist eliminator section, vane structure, space between vanes and arrangement form of the mist eliminator, etc. For FGD project, mist content contained in the flue gas after mist eliminating is the main judge index. Generally, the average mist content in the flue gas after one washing cycle shall be less than 75mg/Nm3. Flue gas is calculated on the basis of dry flue gas. The sampling place is within 1-2m from the mist eliminator.
2)Pressure drop
Pressure drop means the pressure loss of flue gas while passing the mist eliminator. The larger the pressure drop, the higher the energy consumption. The pressure drop of the mist eliminating system is mainly related to the flue gas flow rate, vane structure, space between vanes and the water load in the flue gas. If the mist eliminator vane is scaled seriously, the system pressure drop will be increased. Therefore, the system operation state may be mastered by monitoring the fluctuation of the pressure drop. Make timely treatment if any problem is found. Generally, the pressure drop of mist eliminator for wet process FGD system should be less than 200Pa
3) Critical separation particle size of mist eliminator
Inertial force of the mist is made use of by the mist eliminator for separation. Under certain air flow rate, the bigger particle size mist has larger inertial force and is easier to be separated. When the particle size is too smaller to certain degree, it can not be separated by the mist eliminator. Critical separation particle size of mist eliminator means the min. particle size able to be separated by the mist eliminator under certain flow rate. The smaller the critical separation particle size, the stronger the mist eliminating ability. Generally, the critical separation particle size of mist eliminator is 15-30μm.
4) Critical fume gas flow rate
Under certain flow rate, the mist separation ability of the mist eliminator may improve with the increasing of the flue gas flow rate. On the other hand, the mist separation ability of the mist eliminator may reduce when the flue gas flow rate exceeding certain value. This critical fume gas flow rate is called as critical fume gas flow rate of the mist eliminator. The occurrence of the critical flow rate is attributable to the second inclusion of the mist, i.e. the mist separated by the mist eliminator is removed by the air flow again. Therefore, in order to reach certain mist eliminating effect, the flow rate shall be controlled within suitable range: the highest flow rate can not exceed the critical fume gas flow rate while the lowest flow rate shall ensure min. mist eliminating efficiency.
